3D-FactoryUK are pleased to present our OO9 / 4mm / 1:76 Narrow Gauge Armstrong Whitworth No.12 Locomotive Body kit from the St Kitts Basseterre Sugar plantation for a KATO 103/109 Chassis, Re-Modelled for 2024
Designed and printed in the UK with professional quality ABS like resin at a layer height of 25 microns
This body kit consists of:
1 x OO9 / 4mm / 1:76 Armstrong Whitworth No.12 Body kit
1 x OO9 / 4mm / 1:76 Armstrong Whitworth No.12 Clear Acrylic Window Pack
1 x OO9 / 4mm / 1:76 Locomotive Detailing Pack* (Toolbox, Bucket, Oil Can, 2 x Lamp brackets, 2 x Lamps and 2 center buffers)
*Supplied on supports (pictured)
Modelling tools such as side cutters, sandpaper and needle files will be required to finish the model.
Always use appropriate protective equipment such as gloves, eye protection and dust mask when cutting and filing and painting resin prints
We recommend using good quality acrylic based primer and paints with an airbrush airbrush to paint the model, finished with a clear coat as it will help preserve the finer details of the model, although careful brush painting will yield good results.
Although no washing should be required prior to painting, we recommend using soapy water to remove any grease left from fingerprints to help with paint adhesion and ensure a great surface finish.
Ages 17+
This body is supplied unpainted without chassis.
